Bimal Jayagovindan Vadakkoot, a practicing Eye Surgeon by profession was born in a verdant village, (Avinissery,Thrissur,) in Kerala. During childhood he had been deeply fascinated by ancient Indian mythology and philosophy.He turned into serious reading and writing only after completing his medical graduation in modern medicine and also Post graduation in Ophthalmology. Being a doctor he could understand the miseries better, which helped him finding his altruistic themes. Apart from medicine and fiction reading he has avid interest in Cricket, world history and also cinema.
